What Media Has Taught Us About LGBTQ+ Identities:
Stories Across Generations
In partnership with Mystic LGBTQ+ Youth Support Network and Boston Area Homeschoolers Queer Straight Alliance (BAHSQSA) and the Robbins Library. Supported in part by the Arlington Cultural Council.
Take part in an evening to explore this question together and see your stories reflected by True Story Theater actors.
“We want to provide a space for queer people who have spent their lives feeling misrepresented and for straight people who don’t know how misrepresented queer people feel” say Boston Area Homeschoolers Queer Straight Alliance (BAHSQSA) members. “We are excited to see an accurate description of how we feel and bring light to the fact that we don’t see ourselves in the media.”
This program is supported in part by a grant from the Arlington Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.
