Collective Liberation is an exploration of how to engage our whole selves and our whole society on the path of awakening. Instead of imagining that our identities and differences simply disappear in practice community, we recognize that they are rich sources of both joy and suffering. As warriors of directness, we practice continually examining our blind spots, our confusion, our neurosis and our pain. Holding ourselves honestly in challenging conversations with gentleness and compassion is the work of Shambhala.
This program is supported in part by a grant from the Brookline Commission for the Arts, a local agency, and which is supported in part by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.
