About performances & classes

A Playback performance is more than just entertainment. Audience members laugh, cry, get insights about their life, and feel an expanded sense of community. You can share a moment from your life and see it performed, or just come to watch. We perform monthly in Arlington plus additional shows around town.

Our Playback classes are friendly, informal, and intimate, an enriching experience for both newcomers and experienced actors.

The Medford Family Network presents: Stories of Belonging brought to life by True Story Theater
Wednesday, November 29, 2017
6:30- 8:00 pm
Caron Theater at Medford High School, 489 Winthrop Street, Medford, MA

A sense of belonging is a human need, just like the need for food and shelter.
Where do you feel this sense of belonging among people or places in your life? Where do you wish for more connection? What helps you build a sense of belonging in a new place?

Share or listen as we explore moments from our lives on the theme of “Belonging”…
Watch as actors listen deeply to audience stories and transform them into a theatrical performance, portraying the joys, strengths, and challenges that emerge.
