Monday, June 29th
7:00 – 8:30 pm EDT
In partnership with Make-It Springfield
Join True Story for this online community-building improvisational theatre experience in which personal stories from audience volunteers are transformed respectfully into theatre pieces on the spot.
This event is especially for anyone who is touched by addiction, either on your own journey with recovery and/or supporting loved ones.
Come share in the struggles, challenges, resilience and support around addiction and recovery in these isolating times . Help lift the stigma and share what it is really like. What’s been helping you? What’s been especially hard? What’s seen? What’s unseen? What feels important to share about your journey?
Our theater can offer some new perspective, a space to be seen and better understood, a memorable arts experience, and an enhanced sense of connection and empathy for others.
Follow-up resources on addiction recovery and support will be available.
This event is being offered for free. If you are able to donate we greatly appreciate your contribution.
