Arlington, MA, October 1, 2015 – True Story Theater was awarded a $25,000 “Our Town” grant from the National Endowment for the Arts [NEA] to strengthen Arlington’s community through the arts. The grant program supports creative projects that help transform communities into lively and resilient places with the arts at their core.
Christopher Ellinger, founder and director of True Story Theater said, “The purpose of this project is to support Arlington’s volunteers–in a town where an amazing amount of work is done by people who so generously give their time and skills. We hope it will open up an honest and enjoyable dialogue about issues that are important to our town’s future. My wife and I have lived in Arlington for 30 years are delighted to give back to the town with our very talented improvisational theatre ensemble.”
